Omar forgot the cardamom cookies today. No cardamoms with our coffee! So we went to a different stand and bought something we usually don't have with our coffee: scones! This turned out to be a great choice because we had one scone left when new market friend Leila came riding by in her stroller. Today is Leila's birthday, so our table of talkers sang a spirited rendition of Happy Birthday and shared a scone with Leila and her mother. Jubilate in June!
We'll return to Omar if he remembers the cookies next week. Today's table talkers included Kate,Tom,Jerry,Paul,Jeff,Larry and Dinah.
